Operations

The Coeur mine produced from 1969-1998. Total historical production was 39 million ounces of silver and 33 million pounds of copper from 2.4 million tons of ore. Average ore grades were 16.6 ounces per ton silver and 0.72 % copper.

Restarting the Coeur mine is a major focus for US Silver. The Company plans to use current operating cash flow and cash on hand to fund redevelopment at the Coeur mine. Drilling is currently underway to further define the deposit and mining methods are being examined.  The Company is targeting 5.9 million ounces of resources and no additional permits are required to restart production.  Initial silver production at the Coeur mine is expected in late 2012 or 2013 and the more will be processed at the existing milling facilities that have the capacity to accommodate the volumes without modification.
